Every family should have a plan, a plan for action in the event of an emergency.

In this course you will learn that it is ultimately your responsibility to take care of yourself and your loved ones in the event of an emergency.  We will explore basic steps to take to be prepared for personal, family, regional and national emergencies.  This course brings together information from FEMA, MEMA, and the National Weather Service to provide you with the most reliable information available.

About your instructor:  Your instructor has spent a lifetime serving the public in various emergency services roles as an EMT, Fire Fighter, Commander of a Search and Rescue Squadron, and as a Disaster Action Team leader for the American Red Cross.
